Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details: your email, username and a hashed password.
• Shop details: your shop's name, description, products, photos, rooms and payout status.
• Orders: the name, email and (for shipped orders) the address you give at checkout, and what you bought. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see your full card number.
• Activity: shops you follow, products you save, reviews and reports you send.
• Shop stats: anonymous counts of room taps, page visits and product views. We don't store who viewed what or your IP address for these.
• Cookies: only what's needed to keep you signed in and remember your bag.

How we use it

• To run the marketplace: show shops, take orders, pay sellers and handle refunds.
• To send emails about your account and your orders.
• To keep people safe: moderation, fraud prevention and dealing with reports.
• To improve the site.

We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

Who sees it

• Shops see the name, email and address on orders placed with them, so they can deliver.
• Shoppers see a shop's name, products, reviews and where it is on the wall. Reviews show the reviewer's username.
• Service providers who run parts of the site for us: Stripe (payments and payouts), Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email). They only use your data to provide their service.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account until you delete it. Order records are kept longer when we need them for tax, accounting or disputes. Deleted shops' products and photos are removed.

Your choices

You can update or delete your account in your account settings, unfollow shops and remove favourites any time. To ask for a copy of your data or anything else, email support@shopslctd.com.

SLCTD isn't for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you before it applies.
