Who we are

SLCTD ("we", "us") runs shopslctd.com, a marketplace where independent shops rent rooms on a wall and sell to shoppers. Each shop is run by its own seller. When you buy something, you're buying it from that shop, not from SLCTD.

By using SLCTD you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and, if you run a shop, our seller agreement.

Your account

You don't need an account to buy. With one you can follow shops, save favourites, see your orders and leave reviews.

• You must be at least 13 to make an account, and at least 18 to run a shop.
• Give us accurate details and keep your login to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• You can delete your account any time in your account settings.

Buying

Prices, stock, shipping costs and pickup options are set by each shop. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.

Shops ship or hand over orders themselves. If something's wrong with an order, contact the shop first; our refund policy explains what you can expect.

Reviews and reports

Reviews come from people who actually bought from a shop. Be honest and keep it about your order.

Anyone signed in can report a product, review or shop. We may hide content that breaks these terms or our prohibited items list, and we don't tell shops who reported them.

What you post

You keep ownership of what you post (photos, descriptions, reviews). You give SLCTD permission to show, store and promote it on and around the marketplace while it's up. Only post things you have the right to post.

Things you can't do

• Sell or buy anything on our prohibited items list.
• Lie about who you are, what you sell, or an order.
• Harass, threaten or scam anyone.
• Try to get around payments, fees, or our security; scrape the site; or overload it.
• Post reviews about your own shop or for reasons other than a real order.

Suspending accounts and shops

We may hide products, remove reviews, or suspend accounts and shops that break these terms, put people at risk, or put the marketplace at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you why.

Our responsibility

SLCTD is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and we aren't responsible for the items shops sell or how they handle orders.

As far as the law allows, SLCTD isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid SLCTD in the last 12 months and $100. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you on the site or by email before it applies. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
