Seller agreement

What running a shop on the wall involves: rent, fees, payouts and your responsibilities.

Last updated October 26, 2026

Who can sell

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract, or act for a business that is.
  • You need a Stripe account in good standing to take payments. Stripe's own terms apply to your payouts.
  • The details you give us and your customers must be accurate.

Rooms and rent

Shops apply for 1 to 3 rooms side by side on one floor. We review every application and may approve or decline it. Once approved, you have 48 hours to pay the first month, or the rooms go back on the wall.

Rent is per room, per month, and depends on the floor:

  • B1–B2: $50 per room per month
  • B3–B5: $30 per room per month
  • B6 and down: $15 per room per month

Rent is billed monthly until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your rooms until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund partial months. If rent can't be collected, your rooms may be released.

Where your shop is on the wall is where you rent. We don't move shops around without telling you first.

Fees and payouts

You're the seller on every order from your shop. Buyers pay you through your own Stripe account, and your shop's name is what appears on their card statement.

We keep 5% of each order's total, including shipping. Stripe charges its card processing fee to your Stripe account. Everything else stays in your Stripe account and goes to your bank on Stripe's payout schedule.

When you refund an order, the refund comes out of your Stripe balance and we return our 5% on the refunded amount. Stripe doesn't return its card fee on refunds.

Your responsibilities

  • Describe products accurately, with real photos, and keep stock up to date.
  • Ship or hand over orders promptly (we suggest within 5 business days unless you say otherwise) and mark them shipped.
  • Answer customers and follow our refund policy.
  • Only sell what's allowed: see our prohibited items list.
  • Follow the laws that apply to you and what you sell, including labelling, safety and food rules.
  • Handle your own income taxes. Where the law requires a marketplace to collect sales tax, we may collect it at checkout and pay it for you.

Disputes and chargebacks

If a buyer disputes a payment with their bank, Stripe takes the amount and any dispute fee from your account while it's reviewed. Respond with your evidence through Stripe. Disputes you lose come out of your share.

Your content

You keep ownership of your shop's content. You give SLCTD permission to show and promote it on and around the marketplace while your shop is open.

Moderation and ending

We may hide products or reviews, or suspend a shop, if it breaks this agreement, our terms or the prohibited items list. You can close your shop any time; outstanding orders still need to be completed or refunded.
